Ebere travelled from Nigeria to Sweden in September 2006, for a master’s degree program in energy technology but God had a different assignment for him. In 2009, after his studies at the Royal institute of Technology Stockholm, he was faced with different options to make for his career.
He began filling application forms for highly skilled worker migration to Canada. One day, on a lonely road walking to Rinkeby centrum in the suburbs of Stockholm around midday, he heard an audible voice saying “stay in this land and I will bless you”. He looked around to see who could have said that to him but saw no one. He recognized that quote from the story of Isaac in the Bible and believed it was God speaking to him. However, seeing the challenges of staying in the land he decided to seek the face of God more with fasting and prayer for confirmation.
During a forty-day fasting and prayer, he had a vision of a dry piece of land (like a football field but without grass, only a small patch of green grass around the goal post area) and many people around the land, a voice came to him saying “put your pulpit here (on the small green area) and speak so the people will hear”.
Gathering that the dry land represents the nation of sweden and the continent of europe, and that the people are thirsty seeking water, and God wants to pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground (Isaiah 44;3-4) through the preaching of the gospel, which will restore the land with green grass as a football field and revive the people with the glory of God. And God is sending him for that assignment.
With this vision, he said like the Apostle Paul “woe is me if I preach not the gospel in this land”. That decision turned him from a solar energy engineer to a missionary pastor with his wife. That decision also came with its share of sufferings and persecutions but those were the labour pains for the birth of Glory Tabernacle International ministries; the pulpit from which to speak so the people around the dry ground could hear.
Fourteen years pastoring the church as missionary pastors to Sweden, God began to open the next phase of the assignment to them.
On the fourteenth day of a twenty-one day fast, the Lord appeared to him saying: “I want to take your clinic closer, so I can heal diseases no other person can heal thereby opening the nation up to the gospel but wait for your coronation in a few days from now”. This was His call to the apostolic ministry to the nations but like the apostles, he had to wait on God with another fast for that coronation.
About fifty days later, on April 12 2024, he and his wife were in Wembley London to attend the United Kingdom Glory Conference by Dr Pastor Paul and Dr Mrs Becky Enenche. It was there they experienced the coronation God spoke to him about with a heavy impartation, and that was the launch of their evangelistic and apostolic ministry to Europe with Glory Revival Conferences.
“Reinhard Bonnke paid the price for a blood washed Africa and sowed the seed for a blood washed Europe, now the seed is grown; it is time for Europe Evangelism”, says pastor Ebere
